This Driver Agreement is entered into between GAD Group Limited(referred to as ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Ghana with its registered office at Dzorwulu, Accra, and you, the independent delivery partner ("Driver", "you", or "your"). By registering as a Driver on the Pickapp app, accepting deliveries, or using our platform, you agree to be bound by this Agreement, our Privacy Policy, and any guidelines provided in the app. If you do not agree, do not use the Pickapp platform.
1. Independent Contractor Status
You are an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venture of Pickapp.
You control how, when, and where you perform deliveries (subject to accepting jobs via the app).
You are responsible for all your expenses, including vehicle maintenance, fuel, insurance, taxes, and any licenses required under Ghanaian law (e.g., DVLA driver's license, roadworthy certificate).
Pickapp does not provide employment benefits such as health insurance.
You may work for other platforms (e.g., Glovo, Bolt Food) as long as it does not interfere with Pickapp deliveries.
2. Eligibility and Registration
To become a Driver:
You must be at least 18 years old.
Possess a valid Ghanaian driver's license (for motorbikes/cars) or rider ID.
Own or have legal access to a suitable vehicle (motorbike, car, bicycle) in good condition.
Pass background checks (criminal record, driving history) and vehicle inspection.
Provide accurate information, including bank details for payments.
We may suspend or terminate your access if any information is false or if you fail ongoing checks.
3. Use of the Pickapp Platform
App Access: We grant you a limited, non-transferable license to use the Pickapp Driver app for accepting and completing deliveries.

No smoking, eating, or opening packages.
Tracking: Keep location services on during deliveries for real-time tracking.
Prohibited Items: Do not deliver illegal, dangerous, or restricted items (e.g., alcohol without license, weapons, perishables requiring refrigeration unless specified). We may cancel jobs involving prohibited items.
5. Payment and Fees
Earnings: You earn a base fare + distance + tips (minus Pickapp service fee, typically 20-25%).
Payouts: Weekly via mobile money (e.g., MTN MoMo) or bank transfer. Minimum payout threshold: GHS 50.
Tips: 100% go to you.
Deductions: For cancellations (after acceptance), damages, or refunds to customers.
Taxes: You are responsible for declaring and paying all taxes (e.g., VAT, income tax) to the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA). Pickapp may withhold taxes if required by law.
6. Vehicle and Insurance
Your vehicle must be roadworthy, insured (at least third-party), and compliant with Ghanaian regulations.
You must carry comprehensive insurance covering deliveries.
Pickapp may provide limited partner insurance for accidents during active deliveries (details in app).
Report any accidents immediately via the app.
7. Safety and Conduct
Follow all traffic laws and road safety rules.
No driving under influence of alcohol/drugs.
Report any incidents (accidents, disputes) within 24 hours.
Maintain a minimum rating (e.g., 4.5 stars); low ratings may lead to deactivation.
Harassment, discrimination, or violence will result in immediate termination.
